How to Measure DIY Blinds
The first step is to decide whether you want the blind to fit inside the widow reveal or mounted on the outside, completely cover the opening. The next step is to measure the window space from side to side. One measurement is not enough.
Measure across at the top, middle, and bottom. Then measure top to bottom (the drop) on the left, in the middle, and on the right hand side. Keep all of these measurements handy and always use a metal tape measure.
Now, if you want your new blinds to completely cover the window opening add 25mm to each side. This works for DIY Roman blinds, DIY window shutters, DIY timber blinds, or DIY roller blinds and DIY window shutters.
How to measure DIY Window Shutters, After taking the measurements as set out above, contact the help desk at Inwood Blinds And Awnings.
